Christmas Lights Nail Art

I"m starting to love nail art more and more. I've tried twice already to free hand a string of lights but it would never look right. While on twitter, I noticed Lauren Conrad (judge all you want) has posted a pic of her Christmas light manicure and knew I needed to try it out. The difference with hers was that thread was used for the light string. Such a good idea! To see the original post click The Beauty Department



I used Designer...de Better! for my base, then Zom-Body to Love and Big Apple Red for the lights.


Once my first coat of polish was tacky, I used tweezers to position thread on my nail. Then I added my Christmas light followed by 3 coats of a clear top coat to keep everything in place.

      It was soo easy to do and last almost 10 days! I made sure to apply a clear top coat every (just to keep the thread from coming off)and was amazed at how well it held up
