Lincoln Park After Dark

OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark is described as "Where Midnight Meets Purple" by O.P.I.

Lincoln Park After Dark is beautiful glossy deep eggplant colour.

This colour is one of my all time favourites for fall/winter. It is a very dark colour and for those unfamiliar, it can appear almost black in the bottle. But don't be scared it doesn't look black on!!

This is one of the few bottles, I own that has the OPI Pro Wide Brush. I find the brush can be difficult to use especially on my pinky nail, which tends to be very narrow.

When painting my pinky, I normally turn the flat part vertical so that it is "up and down" and I'm able to use the narrow side of the brush.

One thing I love about this formula is that it is very forgiving and any mistakes ( they happen, we can't all be a pro!) can be corrected without having to remove the polish and start from scratch. The polish goes on well and spreads evenly. After 3 days, I did have some tip wear but no noticeable chips or bald spots. After 2 coats, I was left with a beautiful glossy vampy creme finish. I can see why this one made it into the classic collection.

The photo below show 1 clear base coat, with 2 coats of polish and 1 clear top coat.

  1. Definitely one of my favourites :) I'm wearing OPI's I Brake for Manicures right now, and I'm wishing it was LPAD! They are so similar, but LPAD is just so special :)

    1. There really is just something about it. It's seriously my go to polish when I'm in a crunch and can't decide
