Classic Monday "Yule Love This Silver" Review

Yule Love This Silver was released as part of the 2001 (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong please!) OPI Holiday Collection.

Yule Love This Silver has a clear base and is jammed full of holo (!) micro glitter! In the bottle the colour can seem a little done (who doesn't have a bottle or two of silver glitter polish?) but once you see it in direct light.  Holy crap! It's awesome! Super sparkly. I could not stop staring at my nails!

Classic Monday "Russian Navy" Review

Russian Navy is described as "Wait until you see this deep-sea indigo" by OPI.

Russian Navy was originally released as part of the 2007 Russian Collection. Colour wise it's gorgeous. A beautiful navy blue with red microshimmer mixed in. Amazing! I bought this colour thinking it was OPI Ink because of how purple the microshimmer made it look in the bottle. I was super shocked when it come out blue but feel instantly in love with it. From far away it looks like an inky navy blue, close up you can just see a hint of the microshimmer adding a nice rich detail to the colour.

Classic Monday "You Don't Know Jacques!"

You Don't Know Jacques! is described as "If you don't know how trendy this taupe is!" by O.P.I. (Yeah, I thought it was a typo too but it's not)

Big Apple Red, is tomato red, bright shiny, farm fresh tomatoe red. This shade was originally released as  part of the O.P.I.'s  New York Collection. Since it's original release Big Apple Red has become one of O.P.I.'s best sellers earning it a place in the Classic Collection.

Classic Monday "Bubble Bath" Review

Bubble Bath is described as "Sweet Candy Pink" by O.P.I. (straight and to the point, I like it)

Bubble Bath is a sheer pale pink polish that dries to a glossy creme finish. Originally part of the Sheer Romance Collection, it is now part of O.P.I.'s Classic Collection.

I have to say this was one of the most hyped colours, I've encountered. Everyone seems to have a love/hate relationship with it. I'm sure  this is because of "bubble gate", the changing of the formula from a "whitish pink" to a "pinker pink". I'm only familiar with the "pinker version" of the colour so I can't compare.

Classic Monday "Tickle My France-y" Review

I thought I would start Classic Collection Monday because what are we without the classics?

Tickle My France-y is described as "In this naughty shade of nude" by OPI. (Does anyone else think that's a silly tag line?)

Tickle My France-y nude pink colour with a hint of beige. Way too much beige I think.

This polish was originally part of OPI's La Collection De France released in 2008 and is now part of the Classic Collection. I got this polish as a mini part of the Best of the Best Holiday Collection and I'm glad I did. This is not a colour, I'll ever wear again but it might be handy for nail art. I think the mini bottles are a great way to try out a colour before committing to a full size bottle.
